An American Airlines pilot brought passengers to tears in a heartwarming farewell speech .
Jeff Fell stood at the front of the aircraft and said his final words after 32 tears with the company. His emotional announcement began like so many others he had given. Passengers were welcomed on board before he introduced himself and told them about their journey and the weather.
Passengers were oblivious to what was going to happen when he pointed out a group of “very important people” at the rear of the plane. He said: “They’re the majority of my family who have come along with me on my retirement flight. Jeff Fell stood in front of the cabin and give his final farewell.
His voice quaked with emotion and passengers aboard applauded. In a sweet video, he said: “They’re on board with me on my retirement flight after 32 years with American. Thank you all for coming along with me tonight and celebrating this very memorable time in my life. I love all of you.”
Jeff fought back the tears and won another round of applause from his passengers and bashfully said: “I didn’t want to get emotional but goodness gracious.
The unnamed captain also went through everything from how to treat cabin staff to making sure people use headphones when watching things on their phones. One of the passengers, comedy writer Anna Leah Maltezos, filmed the funny yet stern speech and shared it on instagram where it racked up over 4.6 millions views.
